Government Offices:
Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Retail Stores:
Monday - Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 or 7 p.m.
Global Exchange at the airport:
5 a.m. to midnight daily Tel. 2431-0686
Schedule your activities to accommodate the traditional Latin American siesta. Many shops and businesses shut down between noon and 1 or 2 p.m. for lunch and a rest. On Saturdays most stores are open and on Sundays almost everything is closed.
