Envision Festival Costa Rica

Envision Festival is about transformation and transformation is what it brings – in some way – to all of us who came to Costa Rica for this event. It is more than just a gathering of like-minded earth conscious people; it is a time and place for you to rebirth into a higher version of yourself.

You, right along the beach in the midst of the jungle, surrounded by conscious, illuminated worldwide visionaries like musicians, artists, yogis, healers, motivational speakers, and gatherers alike for the ultimate celebration of music, art, dance, healing, sustainability and community is the one and only, Envision Festival in Uvita, Costa Rica.

The Beginning

Upon first arrival at the festival grounds, you feel the magnetic energy already buzzing among the people waiting in line to pick up their tickets from will call. Mini jam sessions sparkle dance parties scattered along the length of the line in the heat of the day refreshed by the water of fresh coconuts and the mist of giant spray bottles filled with eucalyptus oil and water. The excitement brewing for the days ahead rattled your bones - a feeling that was not even remotely telling just how transformational the weekend would prove to be.

Everyday

Like a jungle wonderland, Envision Festival was full of secret surprises hiding around every corner:

• pause-points for festivalgoers to relax and enjoy, including a Giving Tree with the idea of "take what you need, leave what you don't"
• shaded huts clad with hanging lanterns and covered by geometrical tapestries for people to rendezvous for conversation and relaxation 
• and a huge jungle gym & slide made entirely out of bamboo and ropes for people to climb and play on in the center common area.

Walk though a winding jungle path to experience the stunning coastline, the beach and the divine breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, the soft sands and the delightfully warm water where festivalgoers swam, sunbathed, and surfed everyday.

The very special times shared at Envision were the jaw-dropping sunsets on the beach that cosmically unified and connected everyone creating an electrifying commotion among the community and making everyone roar and cheer as the sun dipped below the horizon and the sky turned every color imaginable every night.

The Food

The food vendors at Envision brought delicious, healthy and unique choices from solely vegan to vegetarian for every single taste: Mediterranean-style falafels, freshly squeezed juices, home-brewed kombucha, local empanadas, completely RAW vegan and Indian inspired dishes from Krishna Kitchen.

Vegans and omnivores alike at Envision fell in love with the vegan-coconut bacon burger made by Love Burger. Everyone braved its out-of-this-world taste and babbled over how scrumptious it was all weekend long.

Shopping

Shops at Envision sell the most incredibly unique items that you can only find here. You could not help but peruse by the variety of wire wrappings, crystals, clothing and jewelry sold by both local and international vendors. The Third Eye Pinecone crew had their one-of-a-kind pinecone necklaces and even Teeki set up a booth for their eco-conscious active wear.

Arts, Speakers & Entertainment

Artists were live painting all weekend, creating masterpieces so complex and awe-inspiring, you couldn’t help but get zoned into the moment with their creations. Some of the big name artists who were here included Amanda Sage & Kris Davidson. The Tribe13 Art Gallery featured artwork from Android Jones, Chris Dyer, Andreas One & Curiot, just to name a few.

The festival also offered plenty of motivational speakers, yoga teachers, healers and interactive workshops for everyone to enjoy as well. Some names that graced the four-day line up included Rachel Brathen, Kaypacha, Apollo Poetry, Daniel Pinchbeck, Wayah and Meghan Currie.

Envision brought the best of the best. For the music, the lineup featured community favorites like The Polish Ambassador, Ayla Nereo, Emancipator, Random Rab, Dimond Saints, Luminaries, Groundation and Phaeleh. Desert Dwellers made a surprise appearance and topped off the weekend with a few unplanned sets scattered throughout the festival grounds. Listening to these performances and being in this jungle-environment, you couldn’t help but let your inner wild side out. With no cares, no judgments of yourself or of others, you could fully be free to allow the music to get ahold of you and express yourself exactly as you are.

The jungle is a place for you to celebrate life, overcome challenges and evolve. Envision festival is so profoundly life changing; it's almost guaranteed you will not leave as the same person when you arrived.
